MyLui (“the App”) is designed to help users track their net worth without collecting, transmitting, or storing personal data externally. All financial information remains strictly on your device.
2. Data Collection & Usage
We Do Not Collect:
- Personal identifiers (name, email, phone number).
- Financial account credentials (bank logins, card details).
- Location, contacts, or device identifiers.
What’s Stored Locally (On Your Device Only):
- Manually entered account balances, assets, and liabilities.
- Stock holdings (quantity only; prices fetched via Yahoo Finance API).
- App preferences (e.g., currency settings, reminder schedules).
No Data Sharing:
- Zero transmission to servers, third parties, or advertisers.
3. Permissions Explained
MyLui requests the following permissions solely for app functionality:

USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT | For secure login using device-level biometric authentication. |
Note: MyLui does not access your contacts, location, messages, camera, or microphone.
If future updates require new permissions, we will:
- Update this policy before release
- Require explicit user consent
- Never activate features silently
4. Third-Party Services
- Yahoo Finance API is used solely to display public stock prices within the app. We do not control their data practices. See’s Yahoo Privacy Policy.
- No personal data is transmitted to or received from Yahoo or any third-party providers.
5. Data Storage and Security
- All data is stored locally on your device using internal storage or shared preferences.
- Biometric authentication is handled entirely by your device’s operating system.
- We cannot access, store, or transmit biometric data.
- Optional reminders use the Android AlarmManager with exact alarms for scheduled notifications.
6. Children’s Privacy
MyLui is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties. There is no cloud sync, analytics, advertising, or tracking SDK used.
